IFN Quran Academy

Our mission is to Raise the kids of the IFN community on Islamic values, integrate the Guidance of the Quran into their lives and establish a long-lasting connection and relationship between them and the book of Allah SWT through various programs that cater to all ages.

The IFN Quran Academy focuses on three main programs throughout the year and one summer program. The goal is to provide a platform to learn how to read, memorize and form a strong relationship with the Quran.

Besides the Full-time Hifz program, which is currently offered to only boys who are 8 years or older, all other programs are offered to anyone above the age of 5.

1- Full-Time Hifz program: The most advanced level of memorization for those who aspire to complete the full memorization of Allah SWT's book. These classes take place Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM. 

2- Part Time Hifz program: Beginner-level memorization. It is an introduction to memorizing the Quran as well as a time of revision for those who are not memorizing anymore. These classes take place from Monday through Thursday from 4 PM to 7 PM and students should come for at least one hour that is convenient for them.

3- Nazira program: Focuses on learning how to read the Quran at any level and for any age. The main goal is to improve students’ reading of the Quran. These classes take place Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 7 PM and students should come for at least one hour that is convenient for them.

4- IFN Summer program: 4-week long program of learning, short Surahs memorization and fun. These classes take place Monday through Thursday from 10 AM to 1 PM. 2023 dates are June 12th to July 13th. Admissions are CLOSED now.

Director: Br. Muhammad Adisa completed his Hifz from the institute of Islamic education in Elgin, Illinois during the summer of 2012. Immediately upon returning home, he began to accumulate his 10 years of experience teaching the holy book of Allah SWT in northwest Indiana.He continued his journey  to the Darussalam Seminary to study the Islamic Sciences of Arabic, Fiqh, Seerah and more. While pursuing these avenues of Islamic knowledge, he was also leading the Taraweeh prayers for communities across the country. Currently, he is completing his Ijazah in Hafs.

Teacher: Sr. Somaia M. Hammoud has been teaching girls part-time Hifz at IFN since 2017. She was also a Sunday School Quranic Studies teacher from 2004 to 2014. She has a BA in Islamic Sciences​ from Al Azhar University (2018). She also holds an Ijazah in Authentic Quran Recitation​ (2015).
